He was head hunted to act as a project manager within an oak framing company and with them spent a year working on the Weald and Downland Gridshell build. Leaving the timber frame company he set up The English Garden Carpentry Company to make bespoke garden woodwork. No longer trading.

The venture into fine art has been relatively recent but enjoys commissions from around the world.

Guy has Brittany's - the small French pointing dogs. These he has trialled both in the UK and France and also shows them - with some success. His bitch is a full UK champion and his home bred dog has 'open' field awards; he has the only Brittany in the world to have awards in both French and UK trials.
